Bhubaneswar:Oct 14 [UDN}: The Commissionerate Police has stepped up security arrangements across the Odisha capital ahead of the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations to ensure that the festival is observed peacefully, safely and without any untoward incidents. With 198 puja pandals scheduled to be set up across Bhubaneswar this year, the police have intensified preparations to manage the expected rush of devotees, visitors and commuters during the festive season.

The elaborate security measures are aimed at maintaining law and order, preventing criminal activities, regulating traffic and ensuring the smooth movement of people around major puja pandals and crowded public places.
