Bhubaneswar,June 6: Senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Lokhande Prashanti Sitaram has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Along with this, Varun Bhardwaj has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Board.
These new appointments are expected to further strengthen the administration and academic governance of CBSE. The leadership change is likely to bring fresh initiatives and reforms in the field of school education and examination management across the country.
