CM Majhi Meets UAE Minister, Invites Investment in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Sept. 10 (UDN): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held a high-level meeting with UAE Cabinet Member and Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri in Dubai on Wednesday, as part of the state government’s ongoing investment outreach in the United Arab Emirates.

Al Marri, who also serves as Chairman of the UAE Council of International Investments, held discussions with Majhi on strengthening economic engagement and expanding investment opportunities between Odisha and the UAE.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister highlighted Odisha’s growing industrial ecosystem, investor-friendly business environment and the state’s potential across key sectors. He invited UAE-based companies and investors to explore emerging opportunities in Odisha and participate in the state’s development journey.

The meeting assumes significance as Odisha steps up its global investment outreach to attract fresh investments and build stronger international business partnerships.

The Chief Minister’s UAE visit includes a series of high-level meetings with government representatives, investors and industry leaders. The engagements are aimed at showcasing Odisha’s strengths and creating new avenues for investment, technology partnerships and industrial collaboration.

The state government is particularly seeking to leverage Odisha’s industrial base and resource advantages to attract investments in sectors with strong growth potential.

The UAE outreach is part of Odisha’s broader efforts to strengthen its position as an attractive destination for domestic and international investors while deepening economic and commercial ties with global markets.
