June 29: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited Puri and reviewed preparations for the upcoming Rath Yatra festival.

He met Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb at the royal palace and discussed arrangements for the smooth conduct of the festival, along with matters related to Jagannath culture and Puri’s development.
The Chief Minister also visited the chariot construction site at Gundicha Rath Khala, where he reviewed the progress of work and interacted with artisans, assuring them of support for timely completion.
Earlier in the day, he took part in Snana Purnima rituals and had darshan of the deities along with devotees.
