Community Service Initiative by Royal Degree College Draws Positive Response

Jeypore, April 09:  A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by the Youth Red Cross of Royal Degree College on the occasion of Odia Paksha celebration.
Emphasizing that donating blood to save lives is a social responsibility, the camp was inaugurated by the institution’s head Ajit Kumar Patra. Principal Harihar Bhatta was present and encouraged the donors, also distributing certificates to them.
Under the supervision of the collection team from Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College, a total of 40 units of blood were collected.
Several individuals, including B. Gangadhar, Gitaksha Parida, Ajit Kumar Gouda, Rabindra Kumar Mishra, and Niranjan Panigrahi from the Odisha Blood Donors Association, extended their support.
The enthusiasm of first-time young volunteers who donated blood was particularly inspiring and commendable.
The camp, organized under the leadership of Harihar Bhatta, saw active participation and support from staff members including Ashish Kumar Panda, Pratiksha Mishra, Sudhir Panda, Santosh Madala, Swetaksha Praharaj, Smaranika Mishra, and others.
It is noteworthy that blood donation motivator and District Youth Red Cross Coordinator Dr. Naresh Chandra Sahu highly appreciated the initiative taken by the college.
