Bhubaneswar,June 6: Debashish Samantaray has been named the BJP’s candidate for the Rajya Sabha.
He has been nominated for the upcoming Rajya Sabha by-election from Odisha.
The official announcement was made by the BJP Central Election Committee.
Recently, Debashish had resigned from the BJD as well as from his Rajya Sabha membership.
After resigning, Debashish Samantaray formally joined the BJP.
With the BJP ticket, his return to the Rajya Sabha is almost certain.
