Kotia, Aug 3 [UDN}: Deputy Secretary Jitendra Kumar Patra conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026) programme being implemented in the Kotia region. During his visit, he closely examined the progress of the revision exercise, assessed the effectiveness of field-level activities, and evaluated whether the programme was being carried out in accordance with the prescribed guidelines and schedule.
The review focused on ensuring that the Special Intensive Revision process is being implemented smoothly, transparently, and efficiently. Officials discussed the progress of data verification, voter-related documentation, field inspections, and other administrative procedures being undertaken as part of the SIR-2026 exercise. The Deputy Secretary also interacted with the concerned officials and staff members involved in the programme, directing them to maintain accuracy, impartiality, and timely completion of all assigned tasks.
He emphasized the importance of conducting the revision process in a fair, systematic, and people-centric manner so that every eligible citizen is properly covered.
