Devotees Gather in Large Numbers at Kotpad to Observe Urs Festival with Prayers and Spiritual Offerings

Kotpad, April 15: The 76th Urs festival of Baba Abas Nade Ali Shah was celebrated with great grandeur at Kotpad.
On this occasion, members of the Muslim community took out a large rally from the Kotpad mosque and proceeded to the dargah located at Kenduguda. As Kotpad is known for its spirit of brotherhood, people from all communities participated in the Urs festival.
As in previous years, this year too, in the evening, people from different religions visited the dargah to seek the blessings of Baba. Devotees offered chadar (cloth), flowers, and perfume, believing that their wishes would be fulfilled.
The shrine remained crowded throughout the night, and there was a heavy rush in shops and marketplaces during the celebration.
