DGP Takes Stock of Security Preparedness Ahead of President’s Visit, Emphasizes Safety, Traffic Management, and Public Convenience

MayurbhanjJune 13:  Keeping the visit in view, the security preparations by the Odisha Police have reached the final stage.

Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Yogesh Bahadur Khurania visited Mayurbhanj and reviewed the security arrangements.

The DGP issued strict instructions to ensure that there are no lapses in the security setup.

Officials have been directed to strictly follow all VVIP security protocols.

The DGP inspected the public meeting venue, helipad, and motorcade routes in Rairangpur.

Instructions have been issued to strengthen overall security management, including effective crowd control measures.

He also discussed the security plan for the President’s accommodation and her ancestral village.

Authorities have been directed to prepare a well-organized traffic management plan to ensure public convenience.

The DGP has instructed police personnel to increase patrolling across the district and maintain close surveillance on any suspicious activities.
