Asika,Oct 28 [UDN}: : A public grievance hearing programme was held at Rugumu Gram Panchayat under Dharakote Block, providing an opportunity for local residents to bring their grievances and concerns to the attention of the administration.
The programme was attended by Block Development Officer (BDO) Lipina Das, Tehsildar Lambodar Marandi, Sarpanch Geetanjali Swain, Samiti Member Banabasa Behera, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department Engineer Chinmayee Rout, Rural Development Department Engineer Rakesh Majhi, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) Sunil Prabha Rath, Block Agriculture Officer Biswanath Behera, Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator (CRCC) Ajit Sahu, Block Social Security Officer (BSSO) Sachin Patra, Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) Isak Pradhan, ADEO Bideshi Goud, and Supply Assistant Sumitra Panigrahi.
Officials and representatives from various line departments were also present to participate in the grievance redressal programme and address public concerns related to their respective departments.
A total of 13 complaints were received during the public hearing. The programme aimed to provide residents with a platform to present their grievances directly to government officials and facilitate administrative intervention for their resolution.
The participation of officials from multiple departments highlighted the administration’s efforts to bring public services closer to rural communities and strengthen coordination in addressing citizens’ concerns.
