District Collector and District Election Officer Prathamesh Aravind Rajeshirke visited Mathili Block and reviewed the progress of the voter-list revision process at the field level. During the visit, he conducted a detailed review of the online document-uploading work being carried out by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) at various polling stations.
The hearing process for complaints and applications by the Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) has already been completed. Therefore, the Collector directed all BLOs to immediately upload any pending documents on the digital portal without further delay.
He stressed that no eligible voter should be left out during the revision process and instructed officials to ensure that the electoral roll remains completely accurate and error-free.
During the review meeting, the Collector said that preparing a transparent, accurate and error-free electoral roll is the highest priority of the district administration. He warned that any negligence or laxity in this important task would not be tolerated.
As the legal hearing process by the AEROs has been completed, all BLOs were directed to upload the remaining documents within the stipulated timeframe and complete the SIR process at the earliest.
The BDO and Tahsildar of Mathili, along with the Assistant Collector (Election), accompanied the Collector during the visit and discussed field-level issues and possible solutions.
Local administrative officials have been entrusted with full responsibility for completing the revision work within the prescribed timeline and in accordance with government guidelines.
