Nabarangpur , Sept 11 [UDN}:A District-Level Procurement Committee (DLPC) meeting was held at the Nabarangpur Zilla Parishad conference hall, where I participated along with Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Balabhadra Majhi, Jharigam MLA Shri Narsingha Bhatra, the District Collector, senior government officials, and other members of the committee.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the overall development of Nabarangpur district and on measures to ensure the effective and successful implementation of various government welfare and development schemes. The participants deliberated on ways to accelerate development activities and ensure that the benefits of government programmes reach the intended beneficiaries in a timely and transparent manner.
Special emphasis was placed on maintaining complete transparency, accountability, and fairness in all procurement activities undertaken through the District-Level Procurement Committee. It was stressed that every procurement process should be carried out strictly in accordance with established government rules, regulations, and guidelines, ensuring that the entire procedure remains transparent, impartial, and free from any irregularities.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts among elected representatives, district administration officials, government departments, and committee members to strengthen developmental activities and improve the implementation of public welfare programmes across Nabarangpur district.
