Semiliguda, June 30 {UDN}: An emergency meeting of the Koraput branch of the Odisha Blood Donors’ Association was held in Semiliguda. The meeting was conducted by General Secretary Snigdharani Mishra and chaired by President Bijay Sahu.
The meeting was attended by State Executive President Dr. Naresh Chandra Sahu, Advisor Dr. Chittaranjan Mishra, Ajay Kumar Sahu, and other members. During the meeting, the monthly membership fees were collected.
Members were advised to organize at least one blood donation camp each. It was also resolved to conduct various awareness programmes to encourage voluntary blood donation. The association further decided to take all necessary steps to identify blood donors during emergencies and ensure timely blood support for patients in need.
Among those present were Organizational Secretary Ananda Mouli Pattnaik, Treasurer Ganesh Sahu, Vice Presidents Jaya Badatya and Pabitra Sahu, Joint Secretary Swastik Mishra, Executive President Pradeep Tripathy, Jyotsna Behera, Asha Sharma, and several other members.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by President Bijay Sahu, who expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and commitment to promoting voluntary blood donation and community service.
