End to Water Woes in Satiguda as Prompt Action by Administration Brings Much-Needed Relief to Residents

Malkangiri, April 8:  The administration’s sensitivity towards public issues has set a commendable example. Taking the drinking water crisis in the Satiguda area seriously, District Collector Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke immediately directed the Rural Drinking Water Supply Department to resolve the issue.
Due to this humane and proactive step by the Collector, a sense of happiness is now visible among the local residents. Under the direct supervision of the Chief Development Officer of the Zilla Parishad, the department took prompt action to address the villagers’ water scarcity.
Superintending Engineer Janak Balwant Adhikari and Executive Officer Dasharath Sir carried out the work on a war footing, resulting in the installation of 10 stand posts. According to reports, water supply has already started successfully in five stand posts today, and preparations have been completed to ensure water reaches all 10 posts by tomorrow.
PHED Junior Engineer Ram Pradhan and AEE Roman Kisan were present on-site and worked actively to ensure public convenience.
The residents of Satiguda have expressed heartfelt gratitude to the District Collector and all concerned officials for their quick and positive action.
