Bhubaneswar: March, 3:The English names of various places in Odisha will be changed. Incorrect names that have been in use since the British era will be corrected, and the original Odia names will be restored.
Dr. Aravind Padhee, Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, has written to district collectors asking them to send proposals for the name changes. Authentic Odia names will be used in place of the existing English names.
