Bhubaneswar, Aug 17 [UDN}:Four teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been mobilized to ensure the safe rescue and evacuation of people affected by the prevailing situation in Odisha. The teams will be deployed across Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak districts, where they will remain ready to respond to emergencies and assist local authorities.
The deployment is aimed at strengthening disaster-response preparedness, particularly in vulnerable areas, and ensuring that people can be evacuated quickly and safely if required. NDRF personnel will coordinate with the district administrations and other emergency-response agencies during rescue and relief operations.
The teams are equipped to undertake evacuation, search-and-rescue operations and emergency assistance in affected areas, with priority being given to the safety of residents and timely response to any developing situation.
