From Border Region to Medical Dreams: Three Raighar Students Achieve Success in NEET Through Dedication and Determination

RAIGHAR: Sept 21 [UDN}:Three meritorious students from the border region of Raighar block in Nabarangpur district have turned their dreams of becoming doctors into reality through hard work and determination. Their success in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) has brought pride not only to their families but also to the entire Raighar area.

The three successful students are Mahendra Gand, Uday Shankar Jani and Padma Gand. Coming from relatively remote and rural backgrounds, they have demonstrated that geographical limitations cannot prevent talented and determined students from achieving their goals.

Mahendra Gand, a resident of Sonpur village under Kurabeda Gram Panchayat, has qualified in NEET and secured an opportunity to pursue MBBS at Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla. His achievement has brought happiness to his family, teachers and local residents.

Similarly, Uday Shankar Jani of Birisadi village has cleared the NEET examination and secured admission to pursue MBBS at the Government Medical College and Hospital, Phulbani. His achievement has generated considerable excitement among his family members, teachers and people of the locality.

Meanwhile, Padma Gand of Bargaan village has also achieved success in NEET and earned the opportunity to pursue medical education at SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, one of Odisha’s prominent medical institutions.

The achievements of the three students have become a source of inspiration for young people across Raighar. Their success is being seen as an example of how strong determination, consistent preparation and hard work can help students from remote and border areas reach prestigious professional institutions.

For the three families, the achievement marks the fulfilment of a long-cherished dream. For Raighar, however, it represents something larger — a message to other students that big dreams can be pursued and achieved irrespective of where they come from.
