Dubai: Sept 21 [UDN}:Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has invited investors from the United Arab Emirates and other parts of the world to invest in Odisha, highlighting the state’s abundant natural resources, strong connectivity, skilled workforce and investor-friendly business environment.
Speaking at the Odisha Investors’ Meet in Dubai, the Chief Minister said that Odisha has all the necessary facilities, resources and opportunities required to support large-scale investment and industrial development.
Majhi highlighted Odisha’s rich mineral resources, including iron ore, bauxite and manganese, which provide a strong foundation for industries, particularly in the mining, metals and manufacturing sectors.
He also pointed to the state’s well-developed connectivity network and availability of skilled manpower as key advantages for investors. According to the Chief Minister, Odisha offers the infrastructure, natural resources and human resources required for businesses to establish and expand their operations.
The Chief Minister further stated that Odisha is among the top five investor-friendly states in the country, underlining the state government’s focus on creating a conducive environment for industries and investors.
The Dubai investors’ meet was aimed at showcasing Odisha’s investment potential and encouraging global investors to explore opportunities across sectors in the state. The Chief Minister urged investors to become partners in Odisha’s economic growth and take advantage of the opportunities available in the state.
