Bhubaneswar, April 01: From April 1, major changes will be implemented in the rules for LPG gas cylinder booking and distribution, and it is important for all consumers to be aware of them.
As per government guidelines, e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer) has now been made mandatory to receive gas subsidy. If the rules are not followed, the gas connection may be disconnected.
This new system is expected to help prevent illegal diversion of gas cylinders and ensure that the benefits reach the genuine beneficiaries more effectively. However, consumers have been advised not to believe rumors about surrendering gas cylinders.
Customers can check all their details through their registered mobile numbers and can contact their gas agency in case of any issues.
👉 Make sure your KYC is updated. Let us know in the comments if your KYC has been completed.
