Government Plans to Include ULB Bus Stands Under Atal Bus Stand Scheme to Improve Passenger Facilities and Urban Connectivity

Bhubaneswar, May 25:  A decision has been taken to include all bus stands under the “Atal Bus Stand” scheme. This is a major step toward developing all bus stands with modern infrastructure.

All ULB (Urban Local Body) bus stands functioning under the H&UD (Housing & Urban Development) Department will be transferred to the Commerce & Transport (C&T) Department.

Instructions have been issued to include them under the Atal Bus Stand (ABS) scheme.

The management and operation of these bus stands will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the “Atal Bus Stand” scheme.
