Grand Pravesh Utsav Held at Kudumulugumma Nodal High School Marking Beginning of New Academic Session

Malkangiri April 08:: The Khadi Chhuan (initiation ceremony) and Pravesh Utsav for the academic year 2026 were successfully आयोजित at PM SHRI Nodal High School, Kudumulugumma.
The program was presided over by the in-charge Headmaster, Arjun Gadangi, while Assistant Block Education Officer Hemant Kumar Nayak attended as the chief guest. Among other guests were School Management Committee President Dibakar Suna, social worker Bhagaban Sahu, and former Sarpanch Gopi Pangi.
The event was anchored by school teacher Sudhakar Nayak. The कार्यक्रम began with floral tribute and lamp lighting before the idol of Lord Jagannath by the guests. This was followed by a welcome dance performed by the girl students of the school.
On this occasion, guest Bhagaban Sahu stated that the Khadi Chhuan and Pravesh Utsav is an important part of the New Education Policy introduced by the Central Government, which is being successfully implemented by the State Education Department. He said that such initiatives create a joyful environment among children and inspire them for a brighter future.
Enrolling all children above the age of five into the Balvatika curriculum is an innovative initiative of the Education Department. The young children were welcomed into the school with traditional rituals such as applying sandalwood paste on their foreheads and offering flowers and turmeric rice.
Local priest Ramesh Chandra Rath recited various shlokas during the Khadi Chhuan ceremony. The Headmaster Arjun Gadangi, along with all teachers, initiated the children into learning by guiding them to write on the blackboard with chalk, marking the beginning of their educational journey.
On this occasion, educational and play materials were distributed among the children, along with sweets for everyone.
Finally, teacher Bikash Badaguchhia expressed gratitude to all the guests and sought continued cooperation from everyone.
