Hatpada Market Infrastructure Boosted as 10 New Stalls Opened in Kotpad NAC with Participation of MLA Rupu Bhatra and Councillors

Kotpad, March 28: Ten new market stalls have been inaugurated at Hatpada under the Kotpad NAC. Constructed at an estimated cost of around ₹30 lakh, the stalls were inaugurated in the presence of Kotpad MLA Rupu Bhatra, NAC Chairperson Shankar Rao, Vice-Chairperson M. Santoshi, and all councillors.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA stated that the State Government is committed to promoting self-reliance among young entrepreneurs by constructing such stalls in Kotpad NAC. The Executive Officer, Kamalesh Mahanta, informed the MLA that a proposal would be submitted to the State Government for the construction of similar stalls in all vacant spaces under the NAC in the coming days.
The MLA assured full support for the development of Kotpad NAC and informed that a proposal has been submitted to the Government to upgrade it into a Municipal Council in the future
