Heavy Rainfall Causes Landslide in Mohana Amid Cyclone Arnab Impact

Gajapati,  Nov  2 (UDN):   Severe Cyclone Arnab has intensified its impact across Odisha’s Gajapati district, with continuous heavy rainfall inundating several areas and causing water to flow over roads and bridges.

A portion of the hillside near a bridge in Mohana is reportedly collapsing due to the persistent rainfall, raising concerns about possible disruption to road connectivity. Residents of nearby Gundriguda and Badheipur villages are reportedly frightened by the situation.

Meanwhile, a tree fell across the road in the Jarau Ghat area, blocking vehicular movement. A fire services team subsequently cut and removed the fallen tree, restoring normal traffic movement along the affected stretch.
