Bhubaneswar, May 15: A few days from now, the “People’s Government” will complete two years in office. A meeting regarding the celebration of the second anniversary was held today at Lok Seva Bhavan. During the meeting, it was decided that the occasion would be observed in a simple and restrained manner. Since the country is currently passing through a challenging situation, this direction has been given by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
Instead of holding grand celebrations, the Chief Minister emphasized focusing more on the achievements of the government over the past two years. He stated that these achievements belong to the people, and therefore programs should be designed in such a way that the government’s successes reach every citizen. It was also decided that the achievements of the government would be widely publicized through print, electronic, and social media, along with the publication of booklets. The meeting stressed the importance of showcasing how ordinary people are benefiting from the various welfare schemes implemented by the government.
The Odisha Government’s two-year anniversary will be celebrated on June 12. In this regard, various programs will be organized at both the state and district levels from June 12 to June 21. Highlighting the achievements of different departments, events will be conducted under seven themes — “Shakti Odisha,” “Prosperous Agriculture Odisha,” “Healthy Odisha,” “Developed Odisha,” “Excellent Odisha,” “People-Powered Odisha,” and “Skilled Odisha.” The programs will also include the government’s goals and vision for the period from 2026 to 2036.
