Detailed Assessment of Major Projects Conducted as Malkangiri Administration Prepares Roadmap for Timely Completion of Development Works

Malkangiri, May 15:  A high-level review meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Malkangiri Collector Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke with the objective of accelerating overall development and public welfare works in Malkangiri district. During the meeting, the Collector conducted a detailed review of the progress of various major projects underway in the district and prepared a roadmap to ensure their completion within the stipulated timeframe.
Special emphasis was placed on the railway line construction project, which is expected to bring revolutionary changes to the district’s economy and connectivity. The Collector directed departmental officials to complete the railway work on a priority basis. He also stressed the need to speed up the installation of mobile towers in remote and inaccessible areas so that people living there can be included in the digital connectivity network.
The Collector reviewed the field-level progress of several public welfare projects, including the construction of high-level bridges over rivers, the proposed cement factory, and the Gobindpalli irrigation project aimed at benefiting farmers. While expressing satisfaction over the progress achieved so far, he instructed officials to complete the remaining work on a war footing.
Stating that these projects are like lifelines for the development of the people of Malkangiri, the Collector advised various departmental officials and executing agencies to maintain better coordination among themselves. He also warned officials to pay special attention to transparency, quality, and proper time management in all ongoing works.
Senior district administration officials, engineers from concerned departments, and representatives of executing agencies attended the review meeting and submitted reports on the status of work in their respective sectors.
