Kahnu Das Elected President, P.L. Murthy Secretary as Nabarangpur Merchants’ Association Announces New Office-Bearers

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 18 [UDN}:A crucial General Body Meeting of the Nabarangpur Merchants’ Association was held today at the Saura Sahi Kalyan Mandap in Nabarangpur town on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day. The meeting was presided over by Association President Manas Ranjan Dash (Kahnu Das).
Association Secretary P.L. Murthy presented the secretary’s report, highlighting the activities and developments of the association. Senior member and mentor Subhash Jain, in accordance with the decisions taken at the previous executive meeting, announced the process for selecting the new office-bearers for the association’s upcoming term. The proposal was unanimously approved by the members present.
Following the unanimous decision, the new office-bearers of the Nabarangpur Merchants’ Association were selected. Manas Ranjan Dash (Kahnu Das) was chosen as President, while P.L. Murthy was selected as Secretary. V. Mahesh and Rakesh Kumar Gupta were elected as Vice-Presidents. Bikram Jain was appointed Joint Secretary, and P. Satya Narayan was selected as Treasurer.
Former Association President Sushil Jain was also present on the dais during the meeting.
The newly elected committee members assured the gathering that they would take strong and effective steps for the development of the association, protection of the interests of local traders and resolution of various commercial issues faced by the business community in Nabarangpur. They emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among traders to further strengthen the association and promote a healthy business environment in the town.
At the conclusion of the meeting, members congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and called upon all traders to maintain unity and work together for the growth and welfare of the business community.
More than 300 traders participated in the important General Body Meeting, making it a significant gathering of the Nabarangpur business community.
