Bhubaneswar, Sept 4 [UDN}:The Chief Minister’s Agriculture Entrepreneurship Scheme is playing a significant role in promoting the livestock and poultry industry across the state. One of the successful beneficiaries of this scheme is Sanjay Pratap from Khordha district.
With the support and encouragement provided under the scheme, Sanjay has established a large-scale broiler poultry farm with a capacity of more than 80,000 birds. The farm produces chicken meat weighing over 1.2 million kilograms annually, making a substantial contribution to poultry production and the local economy.
Apart from becoming a successful entrepreneur himself, Sanjay Pratap has also created employment opportunities for more than 20 young people from the surrounding area. His success story stands as an inspiring example of how government support and entrepreneurship can promote self-employment, strengthen rural livelihoods, and generate job opportunities for local youth.
The Chief Minister’s Agriculture Entrepreneurship Scheme is thus helping transform agriculture and allied sectors into promising avenues for entrepreneurship, encouraging more people to take up livestock and poultry-based enterprises and contribute to the economic development of the state.
