Koraput Sept 28 [UDN}: A virtual review meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Koraput District Collector to review pending cases under the Harishchandra Sahayata Yojana and ensure their early disposal and timely assistance to eligible beneficiaries.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, District Panchayat Officer, Koraput, along with Block Development Officers (BDOs), Executive Officers (EOs) and Gram Panchayat Development Officers (GPDOs) from different areas of the district.
During the meeting, the officials reviewed the current status of pending applications and cases under the scheme and discussed measures for their speedy resolution. The Collector directed the concerned officials to take necessary steps for the expeditious disposal of pending cases and ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive assistance without unnecessary delay.
The Collector stressed the importance of timely verification, processing and sanction of eligible cases so that financial assistance under the Harishchandra Sahayata Yojana reaches beneficiaries at the appropriate time. The concerned field-level officials were advised to closely monitor pending cases and take prompt action to clear the backlog.
