Koraput Division PH Contractors Hold Meeting on Tender Participation, Work Opportunities and Challenges in Public Works

Koraput , Sept 22 [UDN}:A meeting of the Koraput Division PH Contractors’ Union was held at the auditorium of the Local Skill Development Training Centre, where contractors discussed various issues concerning the tendering process and the participation of local contractors in development and public works under the division.

During the meeting, the members discussed the need to ensure greater participation of contractors belonging to the Koraput Division in the tender process. Following deliberations, the union decided that only contractors from the Koraput Division would participate in tenders at the rates fixed by the union.

Union president Durga Prasad Tripathy said the decision was taken collectively during the meeting with the objective of ensuring coordinated participation among local contractors. The members also discussed matters related to tender rates, work opportunities and the interests of contractors operating under the Koraput Division.

The meeting provided a platform for the contractors to deliberate on issues affecting their professional activities and to formulate a common approach towards future tender participation.
