Koraput, Sept 22 [UDN}:: Odisha Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Fisheries and Animal Resources Development and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Gokulananda Mallik, arrived at Jeypore Airport today as part of his official visit to Koraput district.
During his visit, the Minister is scheduled to review the implementation and progress of various developmental programmes and welfare schemes being undertaken by the Fisheries, Animal Resources Development and MSME departments in the district. The review is expected to focus on the progress of ongoing initiatives, implementation at the grassroots level and the benefits reaching eligible beneficiaries.
The Minister will also interact with beneficiaries and stakeholders associated with the three departments to understand their experiences, requirements and concerns. Such interactions are expected to provide an opportunity to assess the ground-level impact of government programmes and identify areas requiring further attention and improvement.
Officials of the Koraput district administration welcomed Minister Gokulananda Mallik at Jeypore Airport on his arrival. The district administration has made arrangements for his official engagements during the visit.
The Minister’s Koraput tour is expected to provide an opportunity for a detailed assessment of departmental programmes in the district, particularly those aimed at strengthening fisheries and livestock-related activities, supporting beneficiaries and promoting entrepreneurship and MSME-based economic opportunities.
