Kotpad Sees Kickoff of HPV Immunization Campaign

KotpadMarch, 3: The HPV vaccination drive has been launched at the Kotpad Community Health Centre. The event was attended by NAC Chairman M. Shankar Rao, Nabarangpur MP’s representative Rameshwar Jena, MLA’s representative Suren Mohanty, Health Officer Ranjit Das,  along with other health staff members.

On the first day, more than 200 girls aged between 14 and 15 years were administered the vaccine. Kotpad Community Health Centre Officer Ranjit Das informed that the Central and State Governments are providing this vaccine free of cost to prevent cervical cancer.
