Main Public Grievance Camp Conducted at Dhungiaput Under Mathili Block as Administration Reaches Out to People

Mathili, May 16: As per the directions of District Collector Prathmesh Arvind Rajeshirke, public grievance hearing camps were organized in all blocks of Malkangiri district. The main camp was held at Dhungiaput Gram Panchayat under Mathili block and was chaired by Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Somnath Pradhan.

District Chief Development Officer Dasharathi Sarabu, Chief District Medical Officer Dr. Dolamani Pradhan, and Additional Superintendent of Police Rashmiranjan Senapati were present at the camp and listened to the grievances of the public.

Apart from Mathili block, similar grievance hearing camps were also organized in other blocks of the district. These included Badigeta in Kalimela block, Jharapali in Malkangiri block,

Badapada in Chitrakonda block, Gobindapali in Khairput block, Masi Mariwada in Korukonda block, and Bapanpali in Podia block.

A total of 57 grievance petitions were received during the camps. Among them, 22 were related to individual issues while 35 concerned collective village-level problems.

On the occasion, various government departments also organized special assistance camps within the camp premises. Mathili BDO Pramod Behera and Assistant Collector Pritam Devata.

Acoordinated the overall programme successfully. Several district-level officials were also present during the grievance hearing camps.
