Major Development in Biju Janata Dal: Sasmit Patra Steps Down as Parliamentary Party Leader, Informs Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar, April 14:  Sasmit Patra has resigned from the post of leader of the BJD parliamentary party. He has sent his resignation letter to party president Naveen Patnaik.
Sasmit Patra had been elected to the Rajya Sabha for the second time in 2022. He was appointed as the leader of the BJD parliamentary party. Today, he has stepped down from that position.
At present, the BJD has 6 Members of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha
