Bhubaneswar,  April 08: Use of PNG will be compulsory in cities
If a PNG connection is taken, LPG gas will not be provided
Companies have been instructed to complete PNG connections in major cities within 3 months
LPG supply will continue as before in rural areas
e-KYC system has been introduced for LPG beneficiaries
e-KYC has been made mandatory to prevent black marketing of gas
Both permanent residents and tenants will be eligible for PNG connections
Once e-KYC is completed, it will not be possible to obtain gas in someone else’s name
