Bhubaneswar, Oct 1 [UDN}:The Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Test (FLNAT) was successfully conducted today at 1,139 centres across Malkangiri district under the Central Government’s flagship ULLAS – Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram (New India Literacy Programme).
The assessment is aimed at evaluating the foundational literacy and numeracy skills of learners enrolled under the adult literacy initiative and assessing their progress towards achieving basic reading, writing and numeracy competencies.
The successful conduct of the assessment across a large number of centres marks an important step towards strengthening literacy efforts and promoting lifelong learning among non-literate adults in the district.
