Bhubaneswar, Sept 15 [UDN}:At the RPDAC meeting of MCL in Angul district, discussions were held on various public issues, including land acquisition, fair compensation for displaced families, rehabilitation and resettlement, and proper management of rehabilitation colonies.
Former Union Minister and Sambalpur MP Dharmendra Pradhan attended the meeting.
He said MCL has been directed to prepare a comprehensive “Master Plan” for the sustainable development of mining areas, proper rehabilitation and resettlement of displaced people, and provision of employment and other essential facilities.
