MLA, District Collector, and Senior Officials Join Blood Donation Drive in Malkangiri During Odia Paksha

Malkangiri, :April 15:  As Odia Paksha–2026 is being celebrated across the state as per the directives of the Odisha Government, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized by the Malkangiri district administration on this occasion. The camp was held at the FLC Hall located within the District Collector’s office premises.
Malkangiri MLA Narasimha Madkami and District Collector Prathamesh Arvind Rajshirkhe attended the event as chief guests and inaugurated the camp.
In his address, the MLA stated that Odia Paksha is not only a celebration of language and culture, but also an opportunity to serve humanity. By donating blood, we can save lives, which is one of the noblest acts of service.
Similarly, the District Collector emphasized that the administration is always committed to serving the people. Through this blood donation camp during Odia Paksha, the aim is to address blood shortages during emergencies. He also encouraged greater participation from the youth.
On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Vinod Patil H., Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Vedabar Pradhan, Chief Development Officer-cum-Executive Officer Dasharath Sahu, and Sub-Collector Duryodhan Bhoi attended as distinguished guests and motivated the donors.
The camp was organized under the direct supervision of District Emergency Officer Dipti Ranjan Sahu, with support from Senior Revenue Assistant Kuna Nayak.
Employees from various departments of the district administration and volunteers participated in the camp and donated blood voluntarily.
