Bhubaneswar, Aug 26 [UDN}:With the objective of promoting comprehensive rural development and strengthening infrastructure in villages, the ‘Grama Sampada’ Scheme is set to usher in a new chapter in rural development. The initiative focuses on improving village roads, playgrounds, community facilities, recreational amenities, and essential infrastructure for the younger generation, thereby making villages more beautiful, well-organised, developed, and prosperous.
A special allocation of ₹65.75 lakh for the development of an ideal playground will encourage the youth to participate in sports and maintain physical fitness. It will also create new opportunities for nurturing sporting talent at the grassroots level. By providing better facilities, creating a positive environment for young people, and opening up new avenues for community development, the scheme aims to further strengthen the vision of “Development of the Village, Pride of the Village.”
