Odia Film ‘Adhikar’ Makes Its Debut, Aiming to Create Awareness on Social and Legal Rights

Nabarangpur, April 8: The Odia film “Adhikar,” based on human rights, has been released.
The film has been conceptualized and directed by Additional District Magistrate Biswajit Chandra Barman of Nabarangpur. The screenplay, story, and dialogues have been written by telefilm director Manoj Kumar Pattnaik, while editing has been done by Chandan Bahadur.
Under the leadership of A. Kameswara Rao (Kami) of Nabarangpur, members of Jai Jagannath Studio handled the cinematography of the film.
The film features performances by Additional District Magistrate Biswajit Chandra Barman, Tentulikhunti BDO Manoj Kumar Panigrahi, senior artists Sanjeev Singh, Tushar Kanti Khosla, Prakash Chandra Barik, Shibashankar Padhi, Shib Shankar Tripathy, Nirmal Sahu, Sayam Sarath Singh, Roshan Lima, Satyaprakash Khandwal, Kishan Lima, Tufan Sardar, and Laxmi Singh.
The film’s production was supported by Nabarangpur Sadar Police Station officer Sambit Behera, along with Himanshu Pattnaik, Harish Behera, and the district administration and police administration of Nabarangpur.
Notably, the film was shot in various locations across Nabarangpur district and gives importance to the Odia language as well as regional dialects.
The makers have expressed hope that this awareness-driven film will be well received by the public.
