Odisha Civil Services Examination Set for Major Overhaul as Important Changes Are Introduced in Recruitment and Examination Pattern

Bhubaneswar,  Aug 24 [UDN}:The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has made a significant change to the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) examination rules. The earlier limit of six attempts for eligible candidates has now been removed.
Under the revised rule, candidates belonging to the General Category who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to appear for the OCS examination up to the age of 42 years. This change is expected to provide greater opportunities to aspirants who were previously restricted by the six-attempt ceiling, allowing eligible candidates to continue competing for civil service positions until they reach the prescribed upper age limit.
