Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the state government has initiated the process to fill 1,108 Pharmacist Officer posts, 238 Ophthalmic Officer posts, and 380 Medical Laboratory Technician posts. The move is aimed at improving healthcare delivery and ensuring that patients receive timely and effective medical support.

The recruitment of these healthcare professionals is expected to enhance services at hospitals and health centres across Odisha. Pharmacists, ophthalmic officers, and laboratory technicians will play an important role in improving medicine management, eye care services, and diagnostic facilities for patients.

The government said strengthening the healthcare workforce will help make medical services more accessible, affordable, and efficient, particularly for people in different parts of the state. The initiative is also expected to improve the overall functioning of healthcare institutions by increasing the availability of skilled professionals.

With a focus on quality healthcare and better medical infrastructure, the Odisha government continues to work towards building a stronger health system that meets the needs of citizens and delivers improved healthcare services at every level.
