Bhubaneswar, Sept. 5 (UDN): Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Friday met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, during his ongoing visit to the national capital.
The meeting focused on matters concerning Odisha, with discussions covering the state’s development, governance and the welfare of its people. The two leaders also exchanged views on issues of importance to the state.
Kambhampati is currently in New Delhi to attend a series of official programmes and meet senior dignitaries as part of his visit.
Governor’s Meetings With Top Dignitaries
The Governor’s meeting with President Murmu came a day after he called on Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan on Thursday.
During his interaction with the Vice-President, Kambhampati discussed matters related to Odisha’s development, governance and welfare initiatives.
His meetings with the country’s top constitutional authorities come as part of his engagements in the national capital and provide an opportunity to discuss issues concerning Odisha at the highest level.
The Governor is expected to continue his scheduled engagements in New Delhi before returning to Odisha.
