Odisha Police SI Exam to Be Held by October After Paper Leak

Bhubaneswar, July 1 (UDN): Candidates affected by last year’s question paper leak in the Odisha Police Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment process will be given another opportunity, with the revised examination expected to be completed by October 2026, officials said.

The Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) Chairman Rashmi Ranjan Swain announced that the recruitment process will be concluded within the revised timeline, ensuring fairness for all eligible candidates impacted by the earlier disruption.

Officials confirmed that the syllabus, examination pattern, and list of applicants will remain unchanged, maintaining continuity in the selection process.

The move comes as part of efforts to restore confidence among aspirants and ensure a transparent and fair recruitment procedure following the irregularities reported in last year’s examination cycle.

Authorities have reiterated their commitment to completing the recruitment process in a time-bound manner while upholding strict examination standards.
