The programmes are designed to support women entrepreneurs by improving access to credit, markets, skill development, and mentorship opportunities. Officials said the initiatives will help build a more inclusive and competitive industrial ecosystem while increasing women’s participation in economic activity.
The MSME cluster model will focus on developing sector-specific industrial hubs to enhance productivity, encourage collaboration among enterprises, and improve supply chain efficiency. These clusters are expected to provide shared infrastructure and better market linkages for small and medium businesses.
Through the Women Entrepreneurship Platform, the state aims to connect women-led enterprises with financial institutions, industry experts, and government support systems, enabling them to scale and compete more effectively.
Government officials said the initiatives reflect Odisha’s broader vision of inclusive growth and sustainable industrial development. By combining digital empowerment tools with cluster-based industrial planning, the state seeks to create long-term opportunities for women entrepreneurs in both rural and urban areas.
Experts believe these steps could significantly strengthen Odisha’s MSME ecosystem while promoting innovation, employment generation, and women-led economic empowerment.
