Bhubaneswar, Aug 21 [UDN}:A detailed review was conducted during the review meeting on Phase-III of the BharatNet Project under the Digital Bharat Nidhi and Digital India Mission. The meeting focused on the progress of expanding mobile and internet services across the remote and rural areas of the state, strengthening 4G and 5G connectivity, and installing new telecom towers to improve digital connectivity in underserved regions.
The review also assessed the ongoing efforts to bridge the digital divide and ensure reliable telecommunications and high-speed internet access for people living in remote villages and rural communities.
