Bhubaneswar, Aug 5 [UDN}:The Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) has started a new bus service connecting Jharsuguda with Gaya in Bihar, providing better transportation facilities for passengers travelling between Odisha, Jharkhand, and Bihar.
The bus departs from Jharsuguda at 1:00 PM and reaches Gaya at 5:00 AM the next morning. Similarly, the bus leaves Gaya at 3:50 PM (15:50 hours) and arrives at Jharsuguda at 7:00 AM the following day.
The newly introduced service connects several important cities and towns, including Sundargarh, Rourkela, Biramitrapur, Simdega, and Ranchi, strengthening inter-state connectivity and making travel more convenient for passengers.
As part of passenger-friendly measures, women passengers will receive a 50% fare concession on this bus service. The initiative is expected to benefit students, workers, pilgrims, and general passengers travelling between these regions.
