Bhubaneswar,June 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Odisha. There is a possibility that he will attend a special programme marking the completion of two years of the BJP government in the state.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that a “green signal” has been received regarding the Prime Minister’s visit to Odisha. He stated that during his meeting with the Prime Minister in Delhi four days ago, he had invited him to visit Odisha.
The Chief Minister requested the Prime Minister to spare time on June 12, June 20, or September 17 for the event. He shared this information with the media today.
It is noteworthy that during his meeting with Modi in New Delhi four days earlier, Majhi had formally invited him to participate in the celebrations of his government’s second anniversary. The Chief Minister said he had requested the Prime Minister to visit Odisha on either June 12, June 20, or September 17 for the programme.
