Bhubaneswar, June 19: {UDN}: Children who have made a positive impact on the lives of others and have demonstrated exceptional achievements and outstanding contributions in various fields are honored through the Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award (PM Rashtriya Bal Puraskar) 2026. This prestigious national award recognizes young achievers whose talent, dedication, innovation, courage, leadership, and service to society have inspired others and brought meaningful change to their communities and the nation.
Applications are now being invited for both self-nomination and nominations by others under six different categories. Eligible children who have excelled in their respective fields and have achieved remarkable accomplishments at the national or international level are encouraged to apply. Individuals, institutions, schools, organizations, and members of the public may also nominate deserving children for this distinguished honor.
The award aims to celebrate and encourage excellence among children by acknowledging their extraordinary efforts, achievements, and contributions in areas such as academics, innovation, arts and culture, sports, social service, bravery, environment, science and technology, and other fields of national importance.
This recognition serves as a platform to inspire young minds across the country and highlights the significant role that children can play in bringing about positive social transformation and national development.
Last Date for Submission of Applications/Nominations: 31 July 2026
Eligible candidates are encouraged to submit their applications or nominations before the deadline to be considered for one of India’s highest honors for children.
