Delhi, June 3: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and discussed the progress of the semiconductor plant in Jagiroad.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the current status of the project and emphasized the importance of timely implementation for the industrial development of Assam.
Both leaders discussed key infrastructure requirements and coordination between the Centre and the state to ensure smooth execution of the project.
The semiconductor facility at Jagiroad is expected to play a significant role in boosting employment opportunities and strengthening India’s semiconductor ecosystem.
