Bhubaneswar, Oct 28 [UDN}: The TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) is conducting extensive public awareness campaigns to ensure that the benefits of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana reach every eligible household. The initiative aims to educate people about the advantages of adopting solar energy and encourage greater participation in the government’s rooftop solar power scheme.
As part of this initiative, TPCODL organised a Surya Ghar Gram Sabha at Malatipatpur Gram Panchayat in Puri Sadar Block of Puri district. During the programme, local residents were informed about the benefits of using solar energy, the financial assistance available through government subsidies, and the procedure for applying under the scheme.
The awareness programme focused on helping people understand how rooftop solar installations can reduce household electricity expenses while promoting the use of clean and renewable energy. Through such grassroots-level initiatives, TPCODL is working to spread awareness about the scheme and ensure that eligible beneficiaries can access its benefits by understanding the application process and available government support.
